Does glendc/gcc_cross_compilers still work for anyone?

I am trying to do the initial build, and the "Preparing the build" instructions recommend using glendc/gcc_cross_compilers. It doesnt work for me, and the bootstrap.sh script in the redox repo uses redox-os/gcc_cross_compilers. Does this need to be updated?
