Compile fails on Pop_OS! 19.10

I'm trying to build redox from source using make all and I'm encountering this error during compile:

error: failed to load source for a dependency on `nix`

Caused by:
  Unable to update https://github.com/AdminXVII/nix?branch=add-redox-support#491397e2

Caused by:
  revspec '491397e20779381fe3366adeeec2a5540e00b926' not found; class=Reference (4); code=NotFound (-3)
./repo.sh failed.make: *** [mk/filesystem.mk:16: build/filesystem.bin] Error 1

I've tried cloning this repo and compiling ion by itself and this error still persists.
