https://doc.redox-os.org/ion-manual/html/misc/06-prompt_fn.html says " that prompts generated from functions aren't as efficient, due to the need to perform a fork and capture the output of the fork to use as the prompt."
Which sounds familiar, as is I find liquidprompt in bash to be annoyingly slow. Is there some way to do fast smart prompts in ion? Perhaps something like dylib based plugins so that I can write the prompt in native code and not need to fork? Or perhaps some sort of session storage service I could use to cache results between promptings?
I'd really rather not have to trade between smart and fast, you know?
