Reproduction: [describe how you are able to reproduce ("trigger") this bug/issue.] I follow the steps on https://github.com/redox-os/redox and in step
Install rustup.rs
$ curl https://sh.rustup.rs -sSf | sh
Expected behavior: [describe the behavior you would expect the repro to yield.] success
Actual behavior: [describe the actual behavior, which is presented through the repro.]. could not download file from 'https://static.rust-lang.org/dist/channel-rust-stable.toml.sha256' to '/home/frank/.rustup/tmp/qp339bv3ik8aa_ts_file' info: caused by: error during download info: caused by: [1] Unsupported protocol (Protocol "https" not supported or disabled in libcurl)
the error message is likely wrong, because curl supports in the installed version https and i can use curl with the same command to get the file.
Build information: [only when using a self build version: output of rustc -V
, git rev-parse HEAD
qemu-i386 -version
, uname -a
, etc.]
Redox release: [only when using a prebuild version: redox version]
Blocking/related: [issues or PRs blocking or being related to this issue.]
Misc: [optional: for other relevant information that should be known or cannot be described in the other fields.] i use an ARM processor on an Odroid, running debian jessie. regular install of rust was successful before and was deinstalled based on an error message earlier. trying to go to customize installation did not resolve the problem. The cpu is recognized as armv7-unkonwn-linux-gnueabihf
If the above does not fit the nature of the issue feel free to modify it.
