Running existing applications on Redox

Thank you for your great work. I just come to see what new operating systems are on table. I looked for HURD, but founding Redox with MIT license is much more interesting (I think copyleft is lesser freedom).

Having some look into Debian HURD it seems that even large subsystems like GNOME, KDE,openjdk or Mono mostly depends on libc, X or Wayland.

I'm new to Rust, but having for clib, Wayland libraries and clang for example could mean that we can run many of existing applications in Redox.
